Services
The setup, the parks, the permits and the monthly filings. We do the work ourselves where the law allows, and bring in licensed partners where it doesn't. Either way, you deal with one team, in English.

Five services
01
We help you choose the right kind of company, then take it from the name check to a registered company with its seals, bank accounts and tax registration in place.
What's included
- Choosing the company type with you, often a wholly foreign-owned enterprise (WFOE)
- Name check and business scope
- Registration and the business licence
- Company seals, made and recorded
- Bank accounts, including the one your capital comes into
- Tax registration and digital invoicing
What we need from you
- Your parent company's documents, notarised and apostilled where it's registered
- Passports for the people who'll hold company roles
- A registered address the district will accept, which we can help you find
- A plan for how much capital to put in, and when
Who does it
We do it
Registration agency work needs no licence. Since 15 September 2025, agents must be listed in the national registration-agent system and check each client's identity, so we'll verify yours before we file.
Our note: It typically takes three to six months from first call to first payroll. The licence itself usually comes within 1 to 3 working days once documents are complete; most of the time goes on preparing documents abroad, the bank and permits.
02
Parks compete for new companies with space, subsidies and help with paperwork, mostly by phone and WeChat, in Chinese. We talk to them for you and make sure what you're promised is what you get.
What's included
- A shortlist of parks that fit what you're building
- Calls, visits and WeChat with park offices, in Chinese
- Every offer translated, with our note on what it means
- Offers checked against the park's written policy
- Negotiation on your behalf
- The final offer in writing before you sign
- Grant applications prepared on a fixed fee
What we need from you
- What you're building, and your plans for the next few years
- How many people you'll hire, and where they'll live
- Your decision on which offer to take. We advise; you choose.
Who does it
We do it
Talking to parks, comparing offers and preparing applications is our core work. We do it ourselves, in Chinese.
Our note: Since 1 August 2024, China's fair-competition rules have limited the selective subsidies and tax breaks a park can give a single company. A verbal promise may not hold up, so we check it against written policy before you rely on it.
03
Anyone you bring from abroad needs a work permit and then a residence permit, and only a company in China can sponsor them. We handle both, for founders and staff, and residence permits for their families.
What's included
- Which permit route fits each person
- Work permit applications
- Residence permits once work permits are granted
- Residence permits for spouses and children
- Renewals, and changes when roles change
What we need from you
- Passports, CVs and qualification documents for each person
- Employment contracts with the China company
- Details of family members coming with them
Who does it
We do it
We apply on your company's behalf as its appointed agency.
Our note: It typically takes 8 to 12 weeks from job offer to residence permit. Routes depend on the person, the role and the city, and salary thresholds apply on some of them, so we check each case before you make an offer.
04
Once registered, your company has monthly books and tax filings, and once you hire, payroll and social insurance. We keep all of it on time and report to you in English.
What's included
- Monthly bookkeeping, through a licensed partner
- Tax filings, monthly or quarterly, and the annual reconciliation
- Payroll and individual income tax
- Social insurance and housing fund contributions
- A monthly summary in English
What we need from you
- Bank statements, invoices and receipts each month
- Contracts and salary details for each employee
- Your sign-off on payroll each month
Who does it
Us, with a licensed bookkeeping partner
We file taxes and run payroll ourselves. Tax filing for clients hasn't needed a licence since 1 May 2025, after real-name registration with the tax bureau, and payroll outsourcing needs only a filing. Bookkeeping needs a bookkeeping agency licence (代理记账许可证), so a licensed partner keeps your books.
Our note: You deal with one team. We manage the bookkeeping partner, check their work and report to you in English.
05
Every year, a China company files an annual report, settles its taxes and renews whatever is expiring. We keep the calendar and do the work.
What's included
- The annual report, which also covers the foreign-investment and foreign-exchange filings
- An annual audit by a PRC-licensed CPA firm, where one is required
- Renewals of permits and registrations
- Changes to the company, such as new directors or a new address
- A calendar of every deadline, with reminders
What we need from you
- Answers to the auditors' questions
- Early word of changes: new people, premises or lines of business
- Signatures when a filing needs them
Who does it
Us, with a PRC-licensed CPA firm
We handle the reports, renewals and changes. An audit must be done by a PRC-licensed CPA firm, so where you need one, we coordinate it.
Our note: These deadlines come round once a year and are easy to miss. We track them so you don't have to.
Licensed partners
Some work in China needs a licence we don't hold. For that we work with licensed partners, tell you who they are and manage them for you. You still deal with us.
- BookkeepingLicensed bookkeeping partner
- Needs a bookkeeping agency licence (代理记账许可证). A licensed partner keeps your books; we manage them and check their work.
- Legal opinions on PRC lawPartner law firm
- Foreign firms can't advise on PRC law. When you need a legal opinion, we bring in a partner law firm.
- AuditsPRC-licensed CPA firm
- Must be done by a PRC-licensed CPA firm. Where you need one, we coordinate it and answer the auditors' questions with you.
- Recruitment and job matchingLicensed HR partner
- Needs an HR services licence. We refer you to licensed partners.
- Labour dispatchLicensed partner
- Needs its own licence. We refer you to licensed partners if you need it.
Fees
Government fees for registering a company are close to zero. You pay for notarising, apostilling and translating your documents abroad, any licensed partners you need, and our fee.
01
Fixed fees
Each piece of work has a fixed fee, agreed before we start.
02
Quoted up front
We quote in writing once we know what you need, before any work begins.
03
No share of government money
We never charge a percentage of a grant or subsidy. A Hangzhou court rejected a 20% success fee on a startup subsidy in July 2026, and a fee tied to a grant would give us the wrong reason to push you towards one.
Tell us what you need.
One service or all five. We'll tell you what it involves, who does each part and what it costs, before any work starts.
